As a therapist, I am constantly amazed and awed by people's capacity to change, heal, and grow. My therapeutic approach is relational, meaning that together we will explore what's going on in your heart and soul, in your body, in your thoughts, and in your feelings. In this process we will discern how your internal world influences your outer actions and your relationships. We will listen and tune in to your body to help resolve areas where trauma and stress have caused pain or distress. We will work collaboratively on places where you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or trapped. I use a combination of client-directed talk therapy and several body-based trauma processing therapies to effectively resolve challenging issues.
